600×600 pixels photos
Several documents share a size and still disagree about background, head height, glasses, and file limits. Pick the document, not just the rectangle.
- US visa photo for the DS-160
The DS-160 asks for a square digital photo, not a scan you hope is close. Get2x2 exports 600 × 600 pixels, JPEG, at or under 240 KB, with the head and eye line inside the ranges on the State Department's composition template.
- DV lottery photo, 600×600
The Diversity Visa entry is strict about the file itself. It wants a square JPEG of 600 × 600 pixels at 240 KB or less, with the same head and eye bands as a US visa photo. A picture of a printed photo is a common way to get the entry thrown out.
- OCI photo, 51×51 mm
The OCI portal wants a square JPEG between 200 and 900 pixels, 200 KB or less, on a plain light background that is not white. The printed photo spec puts the head at 25–35 mm. You can also crop a signature here: 3:1, from 200×67 to 900×300, JPEG, 200 KB or less.
