2×2 inch (51×51 mm) photos
Several documents share a size and still disagree about background, head height, glasses, and file limits. Pick the document, not just the rectangle.
- US passport photo, 2×2 inches
A US passport photo is a 2×2 inch color portrait. The head, from chin to the top of the hair, has to land between 1 inch and 1⅜ inches, and the eyes sit in a band above the bottom edge. Get2x2 frames a phone photo to that template and replaces the background.
- USCIS photo for a green card or naturalization
Green card and naturalization filings still ask for the familiar 2×2 inch portrait. Some forms want prints, some want a digital upload, and many want the picture taken shortly before you file. Get2x2 builds the 600 × 600 file and, on the bundle, a 4×6 sheet you can cut.
- Japan visa photo, 2×2 inches
Washington asks for a 2×2 inch photo. Denver accepts 35×45 mm or 2×2 inches. We export 2×2 inches because both of those posts accept it. Other consulates can differ, so check the office that has your case.
- Israel passport photo, 2×2 inches
The Embassy of Israel’s passport page says both 5×5 cm and 2×2 inches. Those are close, and 2×2 inches is the size written in inches for applicants in the United States. Head size and glasses are not on the page.
- Nigeria passport photo, 600×600
The Nigeria Immigration portal asks for an ICAO photo of at least 600×600 pixels and at least 54 KB, on white, with no glasses. A 2 MB ceiling appears in the portal code and is labeled as inferred.
- Turkey sticker visa photo, 2×2 inches
The Los Angeles consulate describes a 50×60 mm biometric photo and also accepts 2×2 inches in the United States. Houston’s checklist is 2×2 inches on white. We export 2×2 inches because both US posts accept it. Most tourists use the e-Visa, which does not ask for a photo.
