Rules
The e-visa portal asks for a JPEG of the face, 35:45, no frame, face 70–80% from the top of the hair to the chin, head centred, top of the head and the shoulders in frame. The background is plain and light. The mouth is closed and the eyes are open.
Clear glasses are allowed. No tint, no glare, no heavy frames over the eyes. A religious covering is allowed when the face stays visible. The photo is at most 6 months old. Pixel size and byte size are not published. A paper visa size was not extracted from the Washington embassy page.
