Rules
The embassy photo note is 33 mm by 48 mm. Head width 15–22 mm, head height 28–33 mm, crown 3–5 mm below the top, and at least 7 mm under the chin. The background is white. Both ears and the eyebrows stay visible. Clothing is dark, not white.
The app upload is JPG or PNG under 5 MB. No paper photo is required for a passport filed in the app. The app sets the pixel size, and that number was not published. Clear glasses are allowed. No tint, no glare, no retouching, and no photo of an old passport photo. The portrait is under 6 months old.
