Rules
The Consulate-General in Washington asks for a photo from the last 6 months, a close-up of the head and shoulders, in focus, on white, meeting ICAO photo standards. It can be uploaded in the electronic application.
The page does not state millimetres, pixels, glasses, or expression. Those gaps stay labeled. The 35×45 mm frame is the ordinary ICAO print, used so the file has a shape, not because the consulate printed that size.
Do
- Use a white background and a sharp head-and-shoulders crop.
- Take the photo within 6 months.
- Upload it in the e-consular system if that form asks.
Don't
- Do not call 35×45 mm an official Brazilian size.
- Do not add ink marks or creases if you print it.
- Do not assume a glasses ban the page does not state.
